Ben Roethlisberger Sits Out Thursday
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (pectoral, shoulder) did not take part in the team's first practice of the week on Thursday. Roethlisberger has been held out of early practices for most of the year, so there's really nothing to see here. Expect him to get back on the practice field in the next couple of days leading up to what is expected to be his final home game at Heinz Field in Week 17 against the Cleveland Browns on Monday night. The 39-year-old has been up and down, along with the rest of the Steelers offense, for most of 2021. He's thrown 20 touchdowns to eight interceptions along with 3,373 passing yards in 14 games this year and will remain a low-end QB2 in fantasy as the QB19 entering Week 17 action.
