What’s wrong with Stars goalie Ben Bishop? The veteran netminder had his second bad game in a row. After getting yanked against the Florida Panthers for allowing six goals in under 30 minutes on Dec. 20, Bishop went the distance on Dec. 23 but allowed five goals against the Flames. He posted a combined save percentage below .800 in those two matches. His save percentage dipped below .900 just once in the previous eight games. With the holiday break ahead, the Stars will hope that the rest and relax with friends and family will get Bishop ready for the second half of the season as Dallas battles for a playoff spot. Even with the recent struggles, Bishop has had a solid season with a 2.36 GAA and .924 SV%; only a handful of starting goaltenders have been better this year. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
