5/28:Chicago Bears tight end Dion Sims still has value to the team's offense heading into 2018, according to head coach Matt Nagy. “The nice thing with Dion is that he’s a guy that’s proven to be a solid blocker,” Nagy said. “He can be in there and be your Y tight end, but yet he still has really good hands. He can make plays on intermediate routes. He’s not going to be anybody that’s a downfield threat — I think he knows that, we all know that — but he’s a valuable piece of this puzzle.” Chicago had the chance to cut Sims before March 16 and save $5.666 million against the salary cap. He's coming off a bad year with just 15 catches for 180 yards and a touchdown, and the Bears added Trey Burton in free agency and also have promising sophomore Adam Shaheen in the fold. Sims is a better blocker than pass catcher and is unlikely to hold any fantasy value unless Burton is injured.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
