Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Avonte Maddox (shoulder) suffered a shoulder injury in the Week 2 victory over the Minnesota Vikings and did not return. Before injuring his left shoulder in the first half, Maddox had two tackles (one solo). The good news is that the 27-year-old will have extra time before their Week 3 game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday, Sept. 25, but it doesn't necessarily mean he'll be ready for that contest, either. The Eagles will likely send the defensive back for tests in the coming days. Injuries aren't new for Maddox, as he played in just nine regular season games in 2022 due to ankle, hamstring and toe injuries. He has averaged 12 games played in five NFL seasons coming into 2023.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
