Toronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews scored another goal in Monday's 3-2 overtime loss to Montreal, which leaves him just one shy of posting a second consecutive 40-goal year. He has scored in four consecutive outings and boasts 39 goals for the year despite skating in just 48 games. Matthews has added 21 assists to his tally with 206 shots and 52 blocks. He is carrying an impressive plus-21 rating with four more games to come.
