Austin Gauthier Enjoys Productive Week At Triple-A
6 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers infield prospect Austin Gauthier has been swinging a hot bat in his past six games and is becoming a strong candidate to make his major league debut later this summer. In his past six games, the 25-year-old has posted a .389/.560/.444 line with seven hits, four RBI, one stolen base, and a 7:4 BB:K ratio. Gauthier earned a promotion to Triple-A on May 7 and has posted an overall .283/.404/.414 line through his first 42 games at this level. He performed well through his extended look at Double-A the past two summers with a .290/.418/.44 slash line. Gauthier is ranked as the 25th-best prospect in the Dodger system on MLB.com and remains on track to make his major league debut this season.
