For the second straight week, the Cup Series had a surprise winner. Richard Childress Racing's Austin Dillon won Sunday's O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. Dillon started in the 21st position and quietly ran just outside the top-10 all day. A great strategy call, after a caution with 29 laps to go, put Dillon and his RCR teammate, Tyler Reddick, at the front of the field. From there, Dillon passed his rookie teammate and then held off the hard-charging pack, on multiple restarts, to win his first race since the 2018 Daytona 500. Dillon led 22 laps in the race, and his win firmly puts him in a playoff spot, shaking up the post-season picture, with eight races to go in the regular season.--John Pitucci - RotoBaller
