Although he did have a memorable finish in the 2021 Xfinity night race at Bristol with A.J. Allmendinger when both drivers crashed across the finish line while battling for the win, don't expect Austin Cindric to contend in the Cup night race Saturday. Not only has this been the slowest season for Team Penske in many years, but short tracks aren't Cindric's best either. Not only has Cindric never scored a top ten finish or led a lap on a short track in the Cup Series (even last year when he had faster cars) but he had issues in Xfinity as well. Couple that with a starting position of 29th and a speed percentile of 28.42% on short tracks (also ranking 29th in the series), contending appears bleak.--Sean Wrona - RotoBallerRead More News
