The Houston Astros added pitching prospect J.P. France to the team's 40-man roster on Tuesday. The 27-year-old right-hander has spent the majority of the last two seasons, including all of the 2023 campaign, with the Astros' Triple-A affiliate. While there, he pitched to a 3.90 ERA and a 4.60 FIP in 110.2 innings over the course of 34 appearances. In those 110.2 innings, France also logged 136 strikeouts and 51 walks. Of the right-hander's 34 appearances, 15 were starts. He turned in three pitcher wins, three saves, and a pair of holds for Houston's Triple-A club.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
