Artem Anisimov Dominates In Shootout Win
5 years agoThe Ottawa Senators won in the shootout over the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday night. Artem Anisimov scored twice in regulation and also had the shootout winner. The sniper has just 20 points this season but 15 are goals. Thomas Chabot’s assist gave him points in three straight games. He has 36 points in 66 games. Chris Tierney also had a helper and he now has four assists in two games. He’s five points away from hitting 40 for the third straight season. On the Red Wings side, Dylan Larkin had a goal and an assist. He has eight points in six games as he looks to recover from a disappointing offensive season. Recent trade acquisition Sam Gagner scored a goal in his second game with the team. Goalie Jonathan Bernier took the loss but still turned aside 36 of 39 shots.
