Antwaun Woods Signs With Colts
4 years agoFormer Dallas Cowboys starting defensive lineman Antwaun Woods signed an undisclosed one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. In a corresponding move, the Colts waived linebacker Anthony Butler. Woods was instrumental in the Cowboys defensive resurgence in the middle of last season when he moved into the starting lineup, but Dallas also added six defensive linemen since March. He should represent valuable defensive line depth for Indianapolis at the one-technique, nose tackle spot behind starter Grover Stewart. Woods is more of a run-stuffer than pass-rusher, and he'll be competing with the likes of Taylor Stallworth, Andrew Brown and Chris Williams for a roster spot.
