7 years agoMontreal Canadiens goalie Antti Niemi held the high-powered Islanders to a single goal on 28 shots, improving his save percentage to .949 over the last three games. Despite the win Wednesday night, a tough upcoming schedule makes Niemi a goalie to avoid this weekend. Back-to-back road games against the Islanders (3.20 goals for per game) and Bruins (3.21 goals for per game) means Niemi and Charlie Lindgren will likely split the matchups against top-10 offenses.
