Anthony Richardson To Start In Preseason Finale
1 year agoUnlike last week, the Indianapolis Colts will play first-round quarterback Anthony Richardson in the preseason finale against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night. The Colts feel that the fourth overall pick in this year's draft could use some more repetitions this week after just eight total pass attempts in 11-on-11 drills this week. Richardson could use a chance to work on all facets of his passing, as he was rushing some throws to receivers outside the numbers in joint practices with the Eagles this week. He could also stand to build some more chemistry with receivers Michael Pittman Jr., Alec Pierce and rookie Josh Downs. The 21-year-old signal-caller has home run abilities with the deep ball and with his legs, which will make him an upside QB2 in fantasy in his first NFL season, but be prepared for plenty of growing pains.
