Anthony DeSclafani To Start Friday
2 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Anthony DeSclafani (toe) will make the start on Friday against the Miami Marlins. DeSclafani was bothered by a right-toe injury in his last start on Saturday against the Arizona Diamondbacks, when he allowed three runs on five hits while walking one and striking out two in five innings in a loss. The 33-year-old right-hander won't end up missing a turn through the rotation, so fantasy managers should keep him in their starting lineups in a matchup against the Fish. In his eight starts for San Fran this year, DeSclafani has gone 3-3 with a 3.06 ERA (3.30 FIP), 0.96 WHIP, only five walks and 35 strikeouts in 50 innings pitched.
