Andrus Peat Needs Surgery For Torn Pectoral
3 years agoNew Orleans Saints offensive guard Andrus Peat (pectoral) will undergo season-ending surgery on his torn pectoral on Friday, according to a source. Peat suffered the torn pectoral early on in the Monday night win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7. The injuries continue for Peat, as he's never played a full season in the NFL since being drafted in the first round by the Saints in 2015. The 27-year-old missed several weeks last season with a broken thumb and also missed six weeks in 2019 with a broken arm. In his absence, Calvin Throckmorton is expected to replace him as the starting guard on New Orleans' offensive line.
