New Orleans Saints offensive guard Andrus Peat (pectoral) is feared to have suffered a torn pectoral muscle in the Monday night win over the Seattle Seahawks, according to sources. Peat is waiting on MRI results to confirm what would be a season-ending injury. He was only able to play 17 offensive snaps against Seattle before leaving the game with the injury. With Peat leaving the game, Calvin Throckmorton finished the game in his spot after playing the opposite guard spot the last several weeks while filling in for Cesar Ruiz, who had shifted to center to replace Erik McCoy. McCoy's returned on Monday night for the first time since the season opener. Peat hasn't played a full season in his seven seasons in New Orleans, and he's unlikely to play again this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
