7/11:Los Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons went 3-for-5 with a run and two RBI in Tuesday's win over the Mariners. Simmons, who is on the final ballot for the American League All-Star team, raised his average to .312 on the year. He is a solid source of batting average and runs in standard leagues, especially now that he is batting second in front of Mike Trout. His six home runs and five stolen bases are a tad underwhelming however, making him more of an asset in deeper leagues.--Andy P - RotoBaller
