2 years agoIt was not the finish to Saturday night that Andre Muniz would have hoped for. After having his matchup changed from the co-main event to the main event, it seemed like the perfect chance for Muniz to make a big jump up the welterweight rankings. Brendan Allen had different thoughts, though, capturing the victory over Muniz via third-round submission win. During 14:25 of action, Muniz out-struck Allen by one, landing 43 significant strikes. The loss snaps Muniz's nine-fight winning streak. It also marks Muniz's first loss in the UFC.--Matt Bricker
