Amari Cooper Not Feeling The Best
3 years agoUpdating a previous report, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper is back in the team's building but "still not feeling the best," according to head coach Mike McCarthy. Cooper tested positive for COVID-19 and has missed the last two games while being unvaccinated. He still has a cough, and it's "to be determined" if he'll practice on Tuesday. "My gut would be if he doesn't practice tomorrow, I don't see him going to the game," McCarthy said. An earlier report suggested that the Cowboys expected Cooper to return in Week 13, but this makes it sound a bit more up in the air. If the 27-year-old does return against the New Orleans Saints, he might not play his usual number of snaps and would be a risky fantasy option, especially with CeeDee Lamb (concussion) on track to return after he missed the Thanksgiving game.
