Alijah Vera-Tucker To Miss The Rest Of The Season
2 years agoNew York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said that offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker (triceps) suffered a torn triceps in the Week 7 win over the Denver Broncos and will now miss the rest of the season. Along with Vera-Tucker, the Jets also lost impressive rookie running back Breece Hall (knee) for the season due to a torn ACL. Losing the 23-year-old Vera-Tucker is a big blow to the Jets' offensive line for the rest of the year. Expect Mike Remmers to jump in and serve as the team's starting right tackle, beginning in a Week 8 matchup versus the New England Patriots.
