2 years agoColorado Avalanche goaltender Alexandar Georgiev earned his third shutout of the season with a perfect 31-save performance in Monday's 3-0 victory against the Golden Knights. The 27-year-old has posted career-best totals in categories such as save percentage, goals against average and shutouts, while managing the largest workload in his NHL career as a starting goalie for the first time. Georgiev received offensive support from right wing Mikko Rantanen's two goal performance and center Nathan MacKinnon's empty-net goal late in the third period. Georgiev has been excellent in his first season with the Avalanche and he is one of the best goaltending options across all fantasy formats.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
