Detroit Red Wings winger Alex DeBrincat played his first game for the team on Tuesday and immediately made a big impact. The 2022 All-Star had two assists in a 4-3 win over Pittsburgh. Both of DeBrincat's helpers came in power-play situations, with Dylan Larkin and Moritz Seider as the goal-scorers. DeBrincat was actively seeking a goal for himself as well but couldn't find the back of the net with four shots. 2022-23 was a disappointing year for DeBrincat, but he's fully ready to turn a new page in his career. At the start of training camp, DeBrincat noted he got "lazy" last season in Ottawa and believes he can become a 40-goal scorer again.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
