Alex Collins Should Be Ready For Week 14
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Alex Collins (abdomen) should be back and available for a Week 14 tilt against the Houston Texans after he was inactive in the Week 13 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Seattle signed future Hall of Fame running back Adrian Peterson last Tuesday, and he had a team-high 11 carries for only 16 yards, although he did find the end zone. "Alex will be ready to go I think next week," head coach Pete Carroll said. "He's needed a week off for some time now, and this may help him down the stretch." While Travis Homer broke a 70-plus-yard TD run, Rashaad Penny had 10 carries compared to Homer's three. This was already a backfield to avoid in fantasy, but with Collins likely returning against Houston, it'll be even more of a crapshoot.
