7 years agoArizona Diamondbacks catcher Alex Avila is off to a very rough start this spring. He has just one hit through 20 at-bats, a solo home run, and has struck out eight times. Manager Torey Lovullo says that his catcher's timing is off, but neither he nor Avila seem concerned moving towards Opening Day. Avila is slotted as the Diamondbacks starting catcher and could provide sneaky value for owners in deep or two-catcher leagues who prefer to wait on drafting their backstop.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
