6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson will start at running back in Week 1 against the Cardinals. Peterson will be the favorite for work on early downs, while Chris Thompson will feature on third downs. The veteran Peterson has his opportunity in 2018, but temper your expectations, as he combined for 3.4 yards per carry on 156 carries between the Saints and Cardinals last year.
