Los Angeles Kings forward Adrian Kempe finished off the 2022-23 regular season in style, scoring his second hat trick of the season and adding an assist in a 5-3 win over the Ducks Thursday night. He became the first Kings player since Alex Frolov in 2005-06 with multiple hat tricks in a season. The monster effort in front of the net also made Kempe the first Kings player since Luc Robitaille in 1993-94 with a 40-goal season. Kempe had a career-high 41 goals in total and finished with 67 points, which is also a new record for him. Having totaled 76 markers since the start of last season, Kempe has become one of the most consistent goal-scorers in the league, and the Kings will desperately need him to also produce the good in the playoffs against a high-scoring Edmonton team.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
