Adolis Garcia Could Rejoin The Team Next Weekend
1 year agoTexas Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said that outfielder Adolis Garcia (knee) is a possibility to come off the injured list and rejoin the team next weekend in a series against the division-rival Seattle Mariners. Garcia has begun a running program and could be back in the starting lineup as early as next Friday to face the M's. The 30-year-old All-Star has been on the injured list since last Thursday due to a right patellar-tendon strain that he suffered while trying to make a catch in the outfield. Garcia has been a must-start in all fantasy lineups in 2023 by hitting .244/.322/.494 with an .817 OPS, 34 home runs, 26 doubles, 100 RBI, eight stolen bases and 97 runs scored in 580 trips to the plate over 135 games in his fourth year in Texas.
