6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright (elbow) will throw a bullpen session in Miami next week, and he could start a rehab assignment with High-A Palm Beach after that if he doesn't suffer any setbacks. Wainwright hasn't pitched since May 13, so he'll need a handful of rehab starts before he returns. He should be an option for the team's rotation down the stretch, but fantasy owners should wait and see how effective he is upon his return.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
