Aaron Jones Has RB1 Upside In Week 1 Against The Giants
3 months agoMinnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones looks to have a productive debut in the purple and gold as his team faces the New York Giants in Week 1. The Vikings weren't productive on the ground in 2023, largely due to a reliance on subpar rushers in the backfield -- something they corrected in free agency when they signed the former Green Bay Packers running back. The 29-year-old may be closer to the end of his career than the beginning, but he was still one of the more productive rushers in the league when he returned from injury last season when he averaged 103 rushing yards on 5.4 yards per carry in his last four games. The new Viking will face a Giants defense that was bottom-three in the league in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns allowed to running backs last season, making him a very solid RB2 option with potential RB1 upside.
