A.J. Terrell Ruled Out Against Chargers
2 years agoAtlanta Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell (hamstring) has been ruled out for the Week 9 game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. It will be his second straight game missed after injuring his hamstring in Week 7. With the 24-year-old out again, expect to see Rashad Fenton and Isaiah Oliver take on bigger roles in Atlanta's secondary as a result. Terrell's absence will be good news for Chargers wideouts Joshua Palmer and DeAndre Carter, who will operate as starters with both Mike Williams (ankle) and Keenan Allen (hamstring) out. The Falcons defense/special teams should be avoided as a starting fantasy unit in Week 9 against a Bolts offense that is still more than capable of putting up points without Williams and Allen in the lineup.
