The San Francisco 49ers have not determined who will be their starting weakside linebacker in 2020, and it's a significant spot because they will stay on the field in nickel packages. It will come down to Dre Greenlaw or Kwon Alexander, with the loser of the competition serving as the team's SAM linebacker. Greenlaw, 23 next week, had an impressive 92 tackles (64 solo), one interception, two passes defensed and one sack in 16 games (11 starts) in his rookie season after being a fifth-round selection in 2019. Alexander, 25, has more experience with five years in the league, but he's only played in one full season (2016) and had 34 tackles, one interception, four passes defensed, one forced fumble and half a sack in eight games last year. Greenlaw is the better option to stay on the field and is quickly becoming an IDP name to remember.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
