New England Patriots - NFL Betting Analysis

In week 3, the New England Patriots dropped their AFC matchup against the Ravens by a score of 37-26. New England lost the game by more than anticipated, as the oddsmakers placed New England as 2.5 point underdogs. In terms of the over-under, the teams combined for 63 points, which surpassed the betting line of 45. The Patriots were not able to make a comeback in last week's game, as they trailed Baltimore by a score of 31-20 heading into the final quarter. Through 3 games, the Patriots have an ATS record of 0-2-1. So far, they have an over-under record of 1-2. This week's betting total of 40.0 is slightly lower than the line in their previous games.

Heading into this week's matchup, the Patriots offense is averaging 16.67 points per game, placing them 25th in the NFL. Throughout the game, New England should be able to move the ball through the air, as they are the 11th-ranked team in terms of passing yards. In addition, they are facing off against a defense that has been vulnerable in the secondary. Although the Patriots have a good matchup in the run game, our projections show that they will not be able to take advantage. So far, New England is averaging 115.67 yards per game on the ground.

Green Bay Packers - NFL Betting Analysis

Last week, the Packers picked up a conference win, after taking down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a score of 14-12. In terms of betting, Green Bay picked up an ATS win, as they were the 1.5 point underdogs. With an over-under betting line of 42, the two teams fell below that figure as they combined for 26. Despite being the 1.5 point underdogs heading into the game, the Packers held a 8 point lead heading into the 4th quarter. Through 3 games, the Patriots have an ATS record of 0-2-1. So far, they have an over-under record of 1-2. This week's betting total of 40.0 is slightly lower than the line in their previous games.

Heading into this week's matchup, the Packers offense is averaging 16.0 points per game, placing them 27th in the NFL. Look for the team to put together a strong offensive performance vs a Patriots defense giving up 23.6 points per game. Although the Packers come into the game ranked just 19th in pass yards per game, they will benefit from facing a New England secondary that is vulnerable through the air. We expect Green Bay to have an above-average performance in the passing attack. On the ground, the Packers come into the game averaging 127.0 yards per game placing them 9th in the league. However, our projections show they could be in line for let down game in this week's matchup vs New England.

Today's NFL Betting Pick - Patriots vs. Packers

New England comes into the game looking to continue their recent success over Green Bay, as they have won 2 of their last 3 matchups. The over-under record in these games sits at 1-2, with the average scoring total coming in at 51.0 points. New England and Green Bay did not play each other in the 2021-2022 regular season.

The Green Bay Packers have gone 2-1 vs the spread in these games. On average, the Patriots have averaged 27.67 points per game in the past 3 head-to-head matchups, compared to Green Bay at 23.33.

Over their last 3 regular season games, the Patriots have gone 1-2 straight up. In a similar fashion, the team's record vs the spread in these games was just 0-2-1. Their over-under record in this span was 1-2.

Although New England has a straight up record of 1-2 in their last 3 road games, they have not held up as well vs the spread going 0-2-1. The team averaged 13.67 points per game in these games.

Green Bay has put together a record of 2-1 over their past 3 games. In these games, they have a 2-1 record vs the spread and an over-under mark of 0-3.

Green Bay has played well in their previous 3 home games, going 2-1 straight up. In this stretch, they averaged 24.67 points per game while allowing 11.0. The team also performed well vs the spread at 2-1.

Recommended ATS Betting Pick: Patriots 10.5

Recommended OU Betting Pick: Over 40.0
