Los Angeles Rams DST fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 16 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit the Rams DST for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Avoid in all leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: DST2
ANALYSIS: One man doesn't make a defense. Despite rostering one of the best defensive tackles of all time, Aaron Donald hasn't propelled the Rams DST to fantasy football success. Most casual football fans would struggle to name one other starter on that side of the football.

GAIN ACCESSThe unit has only topped double digits in fantasy scoring once (standard defense scoring) this season (Week 6 versus Arizona). Even in other plus matchups, such as Pittsburgh and Washington, the DST sputtered.
In Week 16, they'll host the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football. The matchup sports the fourth-highest over/under (47) of the week. While New Orleans isn't considered an offensive juggernaut by any means, they have enough weapons to average 22 points per game.
Derek Carr has gotten a lot of flack for how he's failed to improve the offense, but at least for his sake, he's throwing fewer interceptions (seven) than guys like Trevor Lawrence, Tua Tagovailoa, and Matthew Stafford, to name a few. Carr will also be getting back his top wide receiver, Chris Olave, on Thursday.
It's best to avoid both defenses in the first game of Week 16. With playoff spots on the line, both teams should put forward their best efforts.
