POSITIONAL VALUE: WR5
ANALYSIS: It's hard to know what to make of the Buffalo Bills receiver situation in 2024. Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis are gone and Khalil Shakir is the only returning player at the position. Last season, Shakir caught 39 passes for 611 yards and two touchdowns, coming on strong once Davis started to struggle.

The team added rookie Keon Coleman as well as Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Curtis Samuel in the offseason. Of all these names, Shakir feels like the second-most likely Bills receiver to lead the team in yardage after Coleman and also the most likely to lead in targets out of the slot.
But until we actually see how things unfold, it's tough to justify starting Shakir in fantasy. For this Week 1 meeting with the Arizona Cardinals, Shakir should be considered a high-end WR5. He has a high ceiling because Josh Allen is his quarterback but also has a low floor because of all of the weapons in Buffalo.
