Jordan Love's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Jordan Love for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Two-Quarterback Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB2
ANALYSIS: Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is coming off of his best game of the season, throwing for 322 yards on 27-for-40 passing with two touchdowns in a 23-20 win over the Chargers. It was the first time this season that Love had thrown for over 300 yards.
In fact, Love has set season highs for passing yardage two games in a row, a sign that the former first-round pick has started to put some things together in his first season as an NFL starter.
Still, it's a little hard to trust Love in fantasy leagues, especially in a week where all 32 NFL teams are in action. Love has thrown 10 interceptions through 10 games and is averaging just 233.1 passing yards per game.
This week, he faces the Detroit Lions, who are allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. The matchup isn't enough to put Love in play in one-QB leagues, but it does make him a strong second option in two-QB and Superflex leagues. Love is a solid play in those formats because of this matchup, though it's worth noting he was picked off twice when these two teams met back in September.
