Gameweek 27 Rankings - Fantasy Premier League Predictions, Tips, and Picks for 2023-24

FPL Gameweek 27 rankings, predictions, tips, and picks for Fantasy Premier League lineups. RotoBaller's EPL fantasy Gameweek 27 rankings for the 2023-24 FPL season.

Welcome to Blank Gameweek 27, RotoBallers! This is our third year covering FPL, and we are bringing you more coverage than ever. We publish two weekly articles: a staff roundtable preview and our weekly rankings. Then, once a month, we have our newest report, The Watchlist, a review of the previous month and a look ahead to the upcoming fixtures.

Twenty-six gameweeks down, 12 to go. After the FA Cup fifth round, FPL managers have a much better road map for the remainder of the season. There will only be four fixtures in Gameweek 29, so we will have to craft our squads over the next two gameweeks to prepare for the biggest Blank Gameweek of the season. Fortunately, Gameweek 27 is a typical football weekend, with the most significant tie coming in Manchester on Sunday evening as City welcomes United in a crucial tilt for both sides.

The Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 27 deadline is 8:30 a.m. EST on Saturday, March 2, when six games kick off in the classic Saturday afternoon slot. Also, look out for the rest of our excellent soccer coverage as the squad gets you all set for every English Premier League, Major League Soccer, and UEFA Champions League slate from a DFS and betting perspective.

Fantasy Premier League - Gameweek 27 Rankings

Our weekly rankings highlight players who could be worth a punt in your Fantasy Premier League squad. While the rankings will be filled with familiar names, a low-owned player with an easy fixture will rise up the one-week charts. For each gameweek, we will provide our top-15 goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards. These can also be applied as DFS rankings for your weekend contests.

Blank Gameweek 26 Fantasy Premier League High Scorers

  • Goalkeeper: Ederson, Man City - 9 points
  • Defender: Chris Richards, Crystal Palace - 13 points
  • Midfielder: Jarrod Bowen, West Ham - 20 points
  • Forward: Ollie Watkins, Aston Villa - 9 points

FPL Goalkeepers - Gameweek 27 Rankings

  • Ederson has been the top-scoring goalie in back-to-back weeks and is going for the three-peat in the Manchester derby. It's about this time of year when Man City starts firing on all cylinders, and having the keeper for the defending champions should keep you clear of Pep Roulette.

FPL Defenders - Gameweek 27 Rankings

  • With Trent Alexander-Arnold (knee) sidelined, Andy Robertson should inherit more of the set-piece-taking role for Liverpool. Liverpool leads the league with 132 shots created from set plays this season, and the Scotsman will hook up with his fellow defenders Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate to grab FPL managers an attacking return.

FPL Midfielders - Gameweek 27 Rankings

  • Son Heung-min was in excellent form before his mid-season trip to the Asia Cup and will return to those heights soon enough. Crystal Palace is still in flux after a mid-season manager change, while Spurs continues to go the all-out attack every time they get on the ball. The South Korean star hasn't found the scoresheet in the two games since his return, but that will change soon enough against a ground Eagles defense.

FPL Forwards - Gameweek 27 Rankings

  • Ollie Watkins leads all players with 170 FPL points. However, no one considers him a Captaincy option despite playing Luton in Gameweek 27. Yes, Erling Haaland is playing Man United and scored five goals in the FA Cup, but the Villa forward deserves more consideration. If you are chasing your mini-league standings, going against the crowd and rewarding Watkins with the Captain's armband could produce a massive return.
