Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 4 Tips
Invest in Arsenal and Crystal Palace Assets
The international break is over, and the Gunners will play Nottingham Forest at home to start this weekend's schedule. With just 17 goals conceded in the 2024-25 season (the second-lowest total in the Premier League), Arsenal has made the Emirates into a fortress in recent years. An immovable wall!
Moving on to its attack, Arsenal won its first home game against Leeds United, 5-0. With its sights set on the Premier League title, we can expect it to go all-in against Nottingham Forest, which has brought in Ange Postecoglou, a big fan of a high-line defensive structure.
Arsenal has focused on taking advantage of set pieces, particularly from corners. Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori have always combined for three goals this season; however, one player to keep an eye on is Declan Rice, who is primarily on set-piece duty and has recently performed well for his country.
⭐ POTM | Declan Rice vs Serbia:
◉ 2 - Most assists
◉ 3 - Most shots on target
◉ 3 - Most key Passes
◉ 6 - Most crosses
◉ 96% - Pass accuracy

The next team to consider this week is Crystal Palace. Following a 3-0 victory in Gameweek 3, the Eagles are one of three teams still unbeaten this season, along with Chelsea and Liverpool.
Oliver Glasner has made several fresh signings to help bolster the team and managed to keep his top defender, Marc Guehi, on the squad. Their next opponent, Sunderland, would have a difficult time getting a result at Selhurst Park as Crystal Palace looks to extend its unbeaten streak.

To this end, FPL managers should prioritize selecting assets from Arsenal and Crystal Palace for Gameweek 4. According to market data goal projections, each club is expected to produce 2.10 xG and 1.69 xG (expected goals) against their opponents this weekend.
In defense, both Arsenal and Crystal Palace have a high likelihood of keeping a clean sheet, with projections capped at 43%.
Recommended FPL assets for Gameweek 4
- Arsenal: Viktor Gyökeres, Declan Rice, and David Raya
- Crystal Palace: Jean-Philippe Mateta, Daniel Muñoz, and Maxence Lacroix
Top FPL Gameweek 4 Captain Picks
The weekend fixtures present a list of fascinating options for your captaincy choice. Players like Mohamed Salah against Burnley, Jean-Philippe Mateta against Sunderland, and Joao Pedro against Brentford present strong cases. However, our top two captain picks this week are:
Erling Haaland (£14.1m) - Man City vs. Man United
Erling "Braut" Haaland became the player with the most goals in his first 100 Premier League games, with a record of 88 goals scored. The 25-year-old Norwegian international just hit five goals in a single match at the international stage and is not slowing down anytime soon.
Braut is back to cause chaos this weekend, as Man City takes on neighboring rival Man United, and he will be eager to continue his goal-scoring form this weekend.

Viktor Gyökeres (£9.0m) - Arsenal vs. Nottingham Forest
Another goal machine makes our captaincy list in the name of Viktor Gyokeres. Facing Nottingham Forest next, the Swedish forward is expected to be heavily involved in the goals for Arsenal against the Reds, who have not kept a clean sheet this season.

Gameweek 4 Fantasy Challenge: Classic Rivalry
An epic rivalry between Man City and Man United is set to kick off this weekend. This week's task prompts managers to select players participating in the Manchester derby, as they are set to earn double points. Given an unlimited budget, you can select a 6-a-side team and a maximum limit of three players per club.
RotoBaller's top six picks for this week's challenge are:
- In goal, Arsenal's David Raya is our keeper of the week and a solid pick for saves and clean-sheet points against Nottingham Forest.
- In defense, Crystal Palace's Maxence Lacroix is a top-notch defender set to hit big with DefCon points and has a high likelihood of keeping a clean sheet against Sunderland.
- In midfield, Man United's Bruno Fernandes and Arsenal's Declan Rice are our top midfield options. Fernandes fits the requirement for double points in this week's challenge.
- In attack, Arsenal's Viktor Gyökeres and Man City's Erling Haaland are set to lead the line, rounding off our lineup in a 1-2-2 formation. Haaland takes the spotlight as the captain of the week.
Best of luck to everyone participating in this week's challenge!
