FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Brad Peacock - P, HOU vs OAK (FD - $8,300)

If you're not going to spend up for one of the aces at the top, Max Scherzer and Mike Clevinger, then Peacock is a great option. Peacock pitched strong in his first outing of the year against Texas, where he went 6 2/3 innings with just one earned run along with five strikeouts and no walks. It's easy to forget that Peacock had a 29.1% K-rate when he was last in the rotation in 2017, so he's got legit strikeout upside here. The A's lineup has gotten off to a weak start against right-handed pitching with just a .274 wOBA.

Sean Newcomb - P, ATL vs MIA (FD - $7,700)

Newcomb has lots of issues with his command right now but may be able to pull it back together with an easy matchup against the Marlins, who have one of the weakest lineups in the league. Newcomb is a great play in GPP contests, as he may be able to rip through this lineup at a modest cost. However, he may be better off avoided in cash games for his low floor.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Jose Abreu - 1B, CWS vs SEA (FD - $4,000)

Abreu obliterated lefties last season to the tune a 144 wRC+, and he faces a weak southpaw today in Wade LeBlanc. LeBlanc will clearly regress from the 3.72 ERA he posted last year, as he had an awful 5.07 Deserved Run Average. Abreu should provide profit at just $4,000 as the White Sox three-hitter.

Garrett Hampson - 2B, COL vs LAD (FD - $2,600)

Hampson batted second for the Rockies the last time they faced a lefty, and he should get that spot again considering Ryan McMahon was just placed on the Injured List. While Hampson has gotten off to an abysmal start, he's still got a ton of value batting second in Coors Field at punt-level prices. Hampson's minor league profile still shows a ton of promise for fantasy owners, so don't bail out yet.

Corey Seager - SS, LAD at COL (FD - $3,800)

Speaking of Coors... at this price, it's just impossible to ignore Seager as he gets to play in baseball's ultimate hitting environment. The Dodgers should put up a ton of runs on Chad Bettis, who had a 5.01 ERA in 120 1/3 innings last season. Seager is one who you can easily afford.

Travis Shaw - 3B, MIL vs CHC (FD - $3,700)

Shaw is always in a great position to hit a home run when he's at home in Miller Park. He's remarkably managed a .371 OBP this season with just a .185 batting average and continues to bat cleanup for the Brewers, which is an outstanding spot for RBI.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

George Springer - OF, HOU vs OAK (FD - $4,200)

Springer is one of the few Astros who is off to a hot start this season, as he's got a .973 OPS with three home runs. He'll bat leadoff and get lots of opportunities to produce against Mike Fiers, who had a high 1.67 HR/9 in 2018.

Eddie Rosario - OF, MIN at PHI (FD - $3,200)

It's unclear why Rosario comes in at such a low price, as he's coming off a year with a 121 wRC+ against righties and bats third for Minnesota. Rosario homered yesterday in hitter-friendly Citizens Bank Park and should do more damage today.
