Euro 2024 DFS: DraftKings Daily Fantasy Soccer Picks (6/21/2024) - Today's Top Lineups

Soccer - Euro 2024, DFS Preview

Euro 2024 Soccer DFS lineup picks for DraftKings for 6/21/24 on Matchday 8. These are the top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, and goalkeepers.

Happy Matchday 8, RotoBallers! There have been multiple upsets and clean sheets to start the tournament. Crucial matches are being played and clubs are facing the brink of elimination. If France or the Netherlands win their match, they will ultimately secure their position in the Euro Knockout Stage. If Slovakia wins against Ukraine, they will move one step closer to securing Group E.

It's Group D and Group E back in action today with France vs the Netherlands as the main attraction.

The DraftKings Euro 2024 DFS Soccer contests lock at 9:00 a.m. EDT for the 6/21/24 slate. Make sure to get your lineups in early. Also, don't forget to check out the rest of our Euro 2024 coverage on RotoBaller with team and match previews, along with our betting and DFS advice. If you have any further questions or want to chat about the Euro, feel free to reach out to me on X, @df_solutions.

Euro 2024 Matchday 8

Vegas Odds for the Day

DraftKings DFS Goalkeepers

Martin Dúbravka - DK $4.4K || FD $9

Opponent - Ukraine

Considering Martin Dúbravka and Slovakia just kept a clean sheet against Belgium, while making five saves, his chances of recording a second clean sheet against a Ukraine team that got beaten 3-0 by Romania seem high. Many may remember Dúbravka’s shaky play during the tail end of Newcastle’s season last year where he was averaging a goal against per game. In his last five starts for the Magpies, Dúbravka had generated 20 saves and eight goals against. However, as mentioned, he did shut out Belgium in their 2024 Euro debut. In eight fixtures between the two countries, Slovakia is 2-3-3 all-time and both countries are even on goal count. It has been six years since these two last faced each other when Slovakia won 4-1. Can Dúbravka take another leap at the race for the ‘Golden Glove’?

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Pentz (DK $5.4K || FD $13), Maignan (DK $5K || FD $11)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Antoine Griezmann - DK $9.7K || FD $19

Opponent - Netherlands

Antoine Griezmann along with the rest of Les Bleus did little to nothing in the first match against Austria, now all of their salaries have risen dramatically ahead of their hardest GroupStage match against the Netherlands. In the Austria match, Griezmann had two shots, two created chances, six crosses, two corners, and one tackle. However, the Netherlands plays more open and inviting to their opposition. This could play into the hands of Griezmann and help him produce twice the amount of peripherals he produced against Austria. As the only ‘forward’ on the slate with a true set piece monopoly, at his salary, Griezmann will still be one of the highest-owned players on the slate.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Sabitzer (DK $8.1K || FD $17), Schranz (DK $4K || FD $16)

DraftKings DFS Midfielders

Lukas Haraslín - DK $7.3K || FD $17

Opponent - Ukraine

Referencing back to Ukraine’s poor showing in their 3-0 defeat to Romania and Slovakia’s gigantic effort against Belgium, Lukas Haraslín may be the highest-owned player on the slate, especially in ‘CASH’ contests. The midfielder has a monopoly of set pieces for the Sokoli and also plays on the wing, providing open-play value as well. In Slovakia’s win over Belgium, Haraslín had two shots, two created chances, four crosses, four corners, one tackle, and one interception. Surprisingly, he did not have better peripherals. Nevertheless, Romania trampled Ukraine and Haraslín and company could replicate that result.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Tsyhankov (DK $7.2K || FD $14), Zielinski (DK $6.2K || FD $18)

DraftKings DFS Defenders

Peter Pekarík - DK $3.9K || FD $9

Opponent - Ukraine

To finish off the article on defense, there is fullback Peter Pekarík of Slovakia. Pekarík is not as flashy as his counterpart David Hancko, however, Pekarík can generate enough peripherals to keep him as a worthwhile consideration. In Slovakia’s 1-0 win over Belgium, the veteran defenseman produced one cross, one interception, and three clearances. Those numbers are subpar at best. Although at less than $4K on DraftKings, he does not need to produce much to make value.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Mwene (DK $4.3K || FD $12), van Dijk (DK $3.6K || FD $12)

Set Pieces:

  • Slovakia: Haraslín
  • Ukraine: Tsyhankov/Zinchenko
  • Poland: Zielinski
  • Austria: Sabitzer/Baumgartner
  • Netherlands: Veerman/Depay
  • France: Griezmann/Hernandez
