Euro 2024 DFS: DraftKings Daily Fantasy Soccer Picks (6/16/2024) - Today's Top Lineups

Soccer - Euro 2024, DFS Preview

Euro 2024 Soccer DFS lineup picks for DraftKings for 6/16/24 on Matchday 3. These are the top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, and goalkeepers.

Happy Matchday 3, RotoBallers! Now that we have had our first full slate, following Spain's onslaught of Coratia, Sunday opens up the next full slate of matches with England as the slate favorites. It's Group C and Group D in action today, and all six teams will look to get their UEFA Euro 2024 campaigns off to flying starts.

Group D kicks off with a bang between Poland and the Netherlands. Followed up by Group C with England finishing the slate.

The DraftKings Euro 2024 DFS Soccer contests lock at 9:00 a.m. EDT for the 6/16/24 slate. Make sure to get your lineups in early. Also, don't forget to check out the rest of our Euro 2024 coverage on RotoBaller with team and match previews, along with our betting and DFS advice. Euro 2024 Matchday 3

Vegas Odds for the Day

DraftKings DFS Goalkeepers

Jan Oblak - DK $4K || FD $9

Opponent - Denmark

When it comes to making value at goalie on small slates, it is crucial to get it right, otherwise, it can tank your lineup. Atletico Madrid starter Jan Oblak may offer the best value today, playing the Danes. This will be Oblak’s Euro debut, with his only major tournament coming at the UEFA Nations League. In 65 international appearances, the goalie has 30 clean sheets and in his last five starts for Atletico Madrid, he made 13 saves and recorded four clean sheets, while conceding four goals. In 78 total matches between these two countries, they have averaged less than a goal per match. If Oblak can shake off the debut nerves quickly, he could break the slate.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Pickford (DK $5.8K || FD $13), Szczęsny (DK $3.9K || FD $8)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Harry Kane - DK $10.7K || FD $22

Opponent - Serbia

Goal-dependent forwards typically do not make the highlighted section of the ‘Kick-Off’ due to their lack of a floor. However, Harry Kane and England are the biggest favorites on the slate, leaving Harry Kane with the highest anytime goal-scoring odds. In Kane's last three international showings – two World Cups and one Euro, totaling 18 matches – he has 12 goals, three assists, 30 shots, and 14 created chances. Furthermore, Kane is coming off a career year in his Bundesliga debut with 44 goals and 12 assists in 44 appearances between the Bundesliga and the Champions League. With a plethora of talent surrounding Kane, he is expected to score sooner rather than later.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Depay (DK $8.2K || FD $19), Tadic (DK $7.4K || FD $17)

DraftKings DFS Midfielders

Christian Eriksen - DK $7.9K || FD $16

Opponent - Slovakia

With plenty of big names to pay up for, Danish playmaker and veteran, Christian Eriksen offers one of the best floors on the slate and could become the best value play of the slate. Once a prominent midfielder known for his vision and control of the game, Eriksen has taken a backseat at the club level ever since his scare at his last venture to the Euros where he collapsed on the field during a Group Stage fixture against Finland.

Since then, he has been a complimentary piece to Manchester United’s lackluster midfield, offering veteran experience. However, at the international level, he remains a core piece to Denmark’s attack and transition. Expected to slot into the attacking-midfielder role, Eriksen will have every opportunity to bag his first goal at a big-stage tournament since the 2018 World Cup.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Saka (DK $9.9K || FD $17), Veerman (DK $7.7K || FD $13)

DraftKings DFS Defenders

Kieran Trippier - DK $5.1K || FD $15

Opponent - Serbia

With a few ‘popular’ options at fullback, Kieran Trippier takes the cake. After experiencing an injury that set him back at the end of the domestic season with Tottenham Hotspurs, this will be Trippier’s second start since. Despite the numerous big names on England’s squad and a few of those names capable of taking set pieces, Trippier is still expected to have some role in set pieces. If he were not to, his open play value alone will make up for it, known for his attack-minded play and crosses from the flank. Serbia is expected to sit back and let England attack, opening plenty of space for the fullback to produce peripherals.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Mæhle (DK $5.8K || FD $14), van de Ven (DK $3.1K || FD $8)

Set Pieces:

  • Poland: Zielinski
  • Netherlands: Veerman/Simons
  • Slovenia: Stojanović/Šporar
  • Denmark: Eriksen
  • Serbia: Tadic
  • England: Saka/Foden/Trippier
