EPL DFS Lineup Picks for DraftKings (2/10/24) - English Premier League Soccer Matchweek 24

Brandon's DraftKings EPL DFS lineup picks for English Premier League Soccer on 2/10/24 (Matchweek 24). His top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, goalkeepers.

Welcome back to “The Kick-Off” and welcome to the 23-24 season! Finally, a new season is here and we can welcome back our beloved Futbol. Many clubs have made big moves this offseason to help bolster their cup chances and chances of getting a European spot for next season. Will we see a new title winner this season or will Liverpool and Manchester City continue to battle it out for the top spot?

The top favorite for this weekend is Liverpool -650 vs Burnley +1400. I will guide you through this five-match slate starting at 10:00 A.M. EST.

If you have any questions on today's slate, bankroll management, GPP strategy, Cash game strategy, or anything else, don’t hesitate to email me at [email protected], via Twitter @df_solutions, or in our Discord chat rooms.

EPL DFS Goalies

Alisson - DK $5.9K || FD $14

Opponent - Burnley

When looking for the ‘safe’ goalie for ‘CASH’ contests, look no further than Alisson. He has the highest odds for a win and a clean sheet due to Burnley being the second-worst club in Goals For Per 90. Liverpool has been notorious for conceding goals to low-level clubs over the past few seasons, however, it will take a lot for Burnley to even register a shot on target. This will unfortunately limit Alisson’s ceiling though. Nonetheless, he will be the highest-owned goalie in the majority of contests this weekend. In his most recent five domestic starts, he has 8 saves, 6 goals conceded and 2 clean sheets.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Verbruggen (DK $4.1K || FD $8), Foderingham (DK $3.9K || FD $8)

EPL DFS Forwards

Forwards

Darwin Nunez - DK $8.8K || FD $23

Opponent - Burnley

Darwin Nunez is in incredible form and he is one of the main reasons for Liverpool’s sudden jump in form. The forward has 3 goals, 2 assists, 14 shots, 9 created chances, 4 crosses, 5 tackles and 3 blocks over his last five domestic appearances. Unsurprisingly, Burnley is in the bottom three in both In-the-Box Shots Against Per 90 and Goals Against Per 90. Furthermore, in Per 90, they are in the bottom five in Shots Against, Created Chances Against and Big Chances Against. Nunez and the Reds are in arguably the best matchup on the slate.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Solanke (DK $7.6K || FD $21), Hee-Chan (DK $6.6K || FD $18)

EPL DFS Midfielders

Pedro Neto - DK $8.1K || FD $20

Opponent - Brentford FC

After going through a run of form, Brentford FC has suddenly fallen. In all competitions, they have a 2-1-8 record in their last eleven fixtures and they have been outscored 25 to 16 in that window. Their work won’t be cut out for them when they travel to the Molineux Stadium this weekend. The Bees in Per 90 stats are in the bottom ten in Shots Against, Created Chances Against, Big Chances Against, In-the-Box Shots Against, In-the-Box Goals Against and Goals Against. One thing to remember is that teammate and midfielder, Pablo Sarabia has returned to the starting XI which could eat into Neto’s overall value. Throughout his last five domestic fixtures – four starts –, he has 1 goal, 2 assists, 11 shots, 8 created chances, 21 crosses, 9 corners and 3 tackles.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Doughty (DK $8.4K || FD $13), Pereira (DK $7.7K || FD $19)

EPL DFS Defenders

Trent Alexander-Arnold - DK $6.8K || FD $16

Opponent - Burnley

Trent Alexander-Arnold or TAA is another player who has seen a big jump in form over the past month or so. In his last five domestic fixtures, he has 1 assist, 5 shots, 11 created chances, 33 crosses, 9 corners, 7 tackles, 5 interceptions and 7 clearances. In a match against Burnley, TAA will have every opportunity to hit his ceiling, making him a MUST PLAY in the majority of contests due to his high ownership.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Lamptey (DK $4.8K || FD $9), Semedo (DK $4.3K || FD $11)

Corner Takers

  • Fulham FC: Pereira
  • AFC Bournemouth: Cook/Tavernier/Scott
  • Liverpool: Alexander-Arnold
  • Burnley FC: Gudmundsoson/Brownhill
  • Luton Town FC: Doughty/Barkley
  • Sheffield United: Hamer
  • Tottenham: Maddison
  • Brighton & Hove Albion: Gross
  • Wolverhampton: Neto
  • Brentford FC: Jensen/Norgaard

Thanks for reading The Kick-Off. Good luck in all of your contests today!
