Will it be Luis Perez or Kyle Lauletta starting for the Generals? Can the Stallions stay undefeated...and can they cover the 12.5-point spread?

In this article I will be providing you with daily fantasy football USFL DFS picks on DraftKings for Week 7 of the USFL season. These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks.

USFL Quarterback DFS Picks

Jordan Ta'amu (Tampa Bay Bandits) - vs New Jersey ($11,000)

Ta'amu had a really good matchup last week and took advantage, going 27-for-40 for 333 yards and four touchdowns, plus adding 61 yards on the ground. With De'Andre Johnson out this week, Ta'amu is the best dual-threat QB out there and he's thrown six touchdowns over the last two games. He faces a Generals defense that has played well, so there's some risk here, but he might be the highest floor QB there is right now.

Vad Lee (Pittsburgh Maulers) - vs Birmingham ($7,400)

Some nice value here for a guy who has averaged 33 pass attempts per game in his two starts with the Maulers. He's not completing them at a high rate, but he's thrown three touchdowns and rushed for another and is a nice option if you want to save salary space at QB and allocate it to your position players.

USFL Running Back DFS Picks

Trey Williams (New Jersey Generals) - vs Tampa Bay ($9,400)

Most expensive running back on the slate, but it's so hard to pass up on this volume. He's carried the ball 13 or more times in three of the last four games and is coming off of a 76-yard effort against Houston. You'd like to see more receptions and more trips to the end zone, but in a league like this, I'll take the guaranteed volume and just hope a touchdown materializes along the way.

Anthony Jones (New Orleans Breakers) - vs. Michigan ($4,400)

There's a new lead back in New Orleans, it appears. Jordan Ellis saw a big reduction in his playing time after the Breakers got Anthony Jones involved last week. Jones had 22 carries for 102 yards and a touchdown, plus caught two of his three targets for 20 yards. Is a repeat performance likely? Probably not. But for $4,400, why not take the risk?

USFL Wide Receiver/Tight End DFS Picks

Victor Bolden Jr. (Birmingham Stallions) - vs Pittsburgh ($10,700)

Follow the volume, right? Bolden struggled last week, with three catches for 18 yards, but he was targeted 10 times. He's had at least eight targets in each game, though has had more than six catches just one time. Still, consistency matters in the USFL, and Bolden's volume has been consistent, even if he hasn't had the spikes you might want. Take your risks with your lower-salary picks and grab a reliable player like Bolden to ensure you have a decent floor.

Kavontae Turpin (New Jersey Generals) - vs Tampa Bay ($8,300)

With De'Andre Johnson hurt, the Generals should transition toward being more of a passing team. Last week, he was targeted 11 times, catching 10 passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns while also adding three carries for 28 yards. He now has consecutive 100-yard games and should be the primary target for Luis Perez in this one.

Taywan Taylor (New Orleans Breakers) - vs Michigan ($5,500)

Six targets last week for Taylor, who caught five of them for 40 yards. He also has a five-catch, 112-yard game on his resume. He's been shut down a couple of times this season, finishing with under 20 yards in two of his games, but I think he's a nice value play who normally sees five or six targets.

Devin Ross (Michigan Panthers) - vs New Orleans ($3,800)

Ross has 14 targets over the last two games, catching 12 of them for 135 yards and a touchdown. After playing a pretty small role up until Week 5, Ross has seen growth in his role and now seems to have solidified his spot as the No. 2 option on this Panthers team. Not having Shea Patterson as his quarterback anymore should be a good thing for Ross' fantasy value as well.

USFL D/ST DFS Picks

Birmingham Stallions - vs Pittsburgh ($5,500)

The Stallions are the most expensive DFS unit on this slate, and why not—the team is good defensively AND faces the Maulers this week. The Stallions DST has scored at least seven fantasy points in all but one game, and has two games with double-digit points. Meanwhile, the Maulers threw two interceptions last week against the Breakers. Birmingham is double-digit favorites for a reason. Follow the money. This Stallions defense is going to force at least two turnovers this week.
