Did you survive the madness of Week 2, RotoBallers?? How about that Giants-Cowboys game that featured 77 points and 984 yards of total offense? There were several other explosions (hi, Detroit) and another week of worry for some players (where have you gone, Brian Thomas Jr.?). With my cash lineup and Lions stacks in GPP, I had a lucrative week.
A little bit of horn-tooting. I'm currently leading the way in the season rankings on FantasyPros after also taking the weekly accuracy title for Week 2, and several other RotoBaller staff members can be seen in the top 10 as well. Check out all our amazing content, and be sure to follow us on X!

DraftKings Quarterbacks - Week 3 DFS Picks
TOP PLAY
Caleb Williams, CHI vs DAL ($5,600)
This is a HIGHLY unusual week where the "high-end" quarterbacks aren't at all necessary. You'll obviously want to give them a look in GPPs, but Caleb Williams' price tag is about the limit you have to reach for in most contests. In addition, Williams has the matchup and the potential volume to match those top guys in raw score.
Williams is currently the QB9 in fantasy through the first two weeks with 21.1 FPPG, and there are encouraging signs that he's going to take that next step. Williams has thrown the ball 65 times and rushed 11, and his efficiency has been solid. This week, he gets a Dallas squad that looks like the team to attack.
Last week, Russell Wilson was the QB, Malik Nabers was the WR2, and Wan'Dale Robinson was the WR8. This was all against a Dallas defense that traded away Micah Parsons and now doesn't have DaRon Bland either. Chicago has beefed up its offensive line to protect Caleb and company, and Rome Odunze looks like a legit WR1.
If you're not dipping ALL the way down to Carson Wentz (see below), Caleb is carrying the ownership and upside for cash.
VALUE PLAY
Carson Wentz, MIN vs CIN ($4,000)
For the second week in a row, we have a bottom-priced QB that's more than usable in all formats. Mac Jones had enough talent and supporting cast in Week 2 to provide more than enough value, and Carson Wentz would seem to be in the same boat here. Even without Aaron Jones Sr. (also out this week), Wentz is surrounded by weapons.
The only real question is if you'll want to pair Wentz with Jordan Mason, who will likely be the most-owned player on the slate and rightfully so. With Aaron Jones out, Mason should see enough of the passing work that Wentz won't cannibalize his value. The matchup is prime, as Cincinnati allowed 25.5 PPG last year, and their defense projects to be terrible all year.
Other options - Justin Herbert, Dak Prescott, Drake Maye
DraftKings Running Backs - Week 3 DFS Picks
TOP PLAY
Bijan Robinson, ATL @ CAR ($7,900)
It looks like I'm against the grain with this pick, as Christian McCaffrey seems like the consensus top choice again. I want Bijan Robinson, though, who gets the dream matchup against Carolina, which is one he's already more than exploited. Last year, Robinson absolutely trucked the Panthers for 43/265/4 (6.2 YPC).
Just want to let yall know ... Bijan Robinson gets the Panthers next week pic.twitter.com/hHYkA4Kc7i
— Michael F. Florio (@MichaelFFlorio) September 16, 2025
Carolina's defense against the run is no better this year, as they've already allowed 5.7 YPC. Robinson is a volume monster who's already averaging 21.5 touches and 146 YPG, and the Tyler Allgeier TD should cause you no worry. If you really like McCaffrey and are torn, Wentz allows for both!
VALUE PLAY
Jordan Mason, MIN vs CIN ($5,400)
Jordan Mason to the moon! He was already showing out as the better runner in Minnesota, and now Aaron Jones will be out for at least the next four games. Mason sets up for an every-down role, and is simply not priced that way when you look at his counterparts in that range.
This is the perfect matchup, as Cincinnati has already allowed the second-most FPPG to RBs. Mason is fourth in missed tackles forced per attempt, and getting Christian Darrisaw back on the line is going to be a HUGE difference. Mason has 20-25 touch upside in this one, and is a cash lock and someone you should be overweight on in GPP.
Other options - Christian McCaffrey, Jonathan Taylor, Jaylen Warren

DraftKings Wide Receivers - Week 3 DFS Picks
TOP PLAY
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, SEA vs NO ($6,500)
We all knew Jaxon Smith-Njigba's 57% target share and 91% air yards share in Week 1 were beyond unsustainable, but that doesn't mean he's not a WR1 this year. He still had a 30.3% target share in Week 2 and parlayed it into an 8-103-0 day on nine targets.
JSN's price tag has risen $500 since last week, and $700 since Week 1. That's not near enough, however, as his weekly floor/ceiling combination should be well into the $7k range. New Orleans is not a formidable defense and Smith-Njigba should feast again. Can he sustain a 42% target share? No, but he's a high-end WR1. Both things can be true.
VALUE PLAY
Rome Odunze, CHI vs DAL ($5,300)
It looks like the Bears have found their new WR1 in Rome Odunze, and he's a perfect pairing with Caleb Williams against Dallas. Rome Odunze is already at 13/165/3 on 20 targets and is seventh in the NFL in air yards through two weeks. D.J. Moore is only at 8/104/0 and is still priced ahead of Odunze.

Caleb and Rome will get to take shots at the aforementioned Dallas defense, which gave up one big play after another last Sunday against the Giants. The Bears have a slate-high implied team total of 26 points after the Cowboys gave up 506 total yards to the Giants. Grabbing Chicago exposure is the right path in all formats.
Other options - Puka Nacua, Jakobi Meyers, Keenan Allen
DraftKings Tight Ends - Week 3 DFS Picks
TOP PLAY
Trey McBride - ARI @ SF ($5,700)
Trey McBride checks in as my top TE stud for the third week in a row. Two weeks in, and we're still waiting for that TD spike we've been calling for last year. After scoring only two TDs all of last year, McBride has still been kept out of the end zone this season despite having a 25.8% target share on a 96.7% snap rate.
San Francisco is generally a tough defense against TEs, and they're better-than-average so far this season. However, this projects as a back-and-forth game with the injuries to San Francisco on offense, and McBride is a target monster. There are cheaper guys for cash, but McBride's price tag dropped $300 on DK, which makes him perfect for GPPs.
VALUE PLAY
Juwan Johnson, NO @ SEA ($3,900)
I had a real dilemma between Juwan Johnson and Harold Fannin Jr. last week as my "best cheap TE". I had Johnson projected more, but ultimately decided to eat the chalk on Fannin. Johnson did wind up outscoring him, but it didn't hurt me (plus the extra money would have cost me Amon-Ra St. Brown, which would have been catastrophic).
This week, I have no issue calling Johnson the best value, even if he costs a little more money than Fannin. Johnson has 21 targets and 144 air yards through the first two weeks, both of which lead all tight ends. He should not be priced under $4k, and his savings allow you big-time studs at the skill positions. Seattle has also allowed the second-most FPPG to TEs, and the Saints should be playing from behind.
Other options - Tucker Kraft, Tyler Warren, Harold Fannin Jr.
