Welcome to NBA Sunday! With most eyes pointed towards the NFL Super Bowl, we have plenty of money to make over here on the hardwood. The games will tip-off early today and we only have three contests. It'll be crucial to get everything right as some of these superstars will be very highly-owned.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/2/20. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks.
We have just four games on the main slate, but there is plenty to look at across the board. Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before line-up lock. Let's dive right in!

DraftKings DFS Guards
James Harden - SG, HOU vs. NO ($11,200)
Harden has been pretty terrible of late, but he turned it around last game with 35 points, 16 rebounds, six assists, and four steals against the Pelicans. He did it against a Doncic-less Mavericks team that plays fast, but not as fast as these Pelicans. This is a dream matchup for Harden with the Pelicans playing extremely fast and not having anyone to cover him up on the outside. Harden and Westbrook were out against the Pelicans last time, so they’ll have a load on their hands with these two superstars. I expect Harden to regularly be over 60 fantasy points after that outlier of a stretch.
Lonzo Ball - PG, NO @ HOU ($7,000)
Lonzo Ball is another guy that’s too cheap on DraftKings and this matchup with the Houston Rockets is a phenomenal one. Lonzo has been extremely consistent of late, and it’s hard not to be when you play big minutes and do everything on the basketball court. He’s been over 30 DraftKings points in 15 of his last 16 games and he now gets a matchup with. Rockets team that gives up a ton of peripherals. Ball is affordable across the industry and you can deploy him in all formats.
Mikal Bridges - SG, PHO @ MIL ($4,000)
Bridges is simply too cheap on DraftKings and he fits this bill for a matchup with the fast-paced Bucks. The Bucks play at the league’s fastest pace (105.1) and Bridges has been over 32 minutes in eight of his last nine games. Bridges isn’t a huge scorer, but he stuffs the stat sheet and plays big minutes in a key complementary role. They’re going to need his versatility against a Bucks team that can score and rebound from every position. Bridges is extremely cheap on DraftKings and I’m a big fan in all formats.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Zion Williamson - PF, NO @ HOU ($7,700)
There is certainly still a cap on the minutes of Zion Williamson, but he’s been between 27 and 30 in each of the last three games. He’s going to excel in this fast-paced matchup as I don’t see anyone on Houston that matches up well with him. P.J. Tucker will likely draw the assignment, but he’s just too small to contend with Zion down low. Zion has shown consistency since getting back from injury and I project him around 35-40 DraftKings points in this matchup.
Eric Gordon - SF, HOU vs. NO ($5,900)
While Gordon will likely never have another 50-point game, we don’t need one at this price. Even with Westbrook and Harden in the lineup, Gordon is locked in around 30 minutes and he’s been over 25 DK points in all but two games in his last eight. Gordon always turns it up a bit for the Pelicans and this is the EG we’ve been used to for years now. His shot is back and I’m fine playing him with another Rocket here.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Deandre Ayton - C, PHO @ MIL ($7,500)
The two top centers come from the same matchup in Phoenix and Milwaukee. We’ll first touch on DeAndre Ayton, who’s facing off with Brook Lopez and an interior that can’t slow anyone down. The Suns are going to use Ayton early and often and I’m a big fan of his price on DraftKings. His minutes have been locked in and Brook Lopez will have no interest in banging under the rim with Ayton.
Brook Lopez - C, MIL vs. PHO ($3,900)
