BALLER MOVE: Add in 12-Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 40% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Detroit Lions wide receiver D.J. Chark Jr. is an intriguing waiver wire add heading into Week 2 of the 2022 NFL season.
While Amon-Ra St. Brown led the Lions in targets in Week 1, Chark was second on the team in that stat, with Jared Goff looking his way eight times. Chark finished with four receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown.
There are probably better options on the waiver wire this week, because the Lions passing offense isn't one that you want to invest too much into. But Chark found the end zone and looked solid in his Lions debut, so as long as he remains healthy, he should have a pretty sizable role in this offense.
Chark is worthy of a waiver claim in 14-team leagues, where his strong floor can be valuable in your lineups if you're dealing with injury or bye week issues. Chark's ceiling isn't as high as other options, but his job in Detroit feels secure.

Wide receivers on waivers are always interesting players to try to snag. They can be hugely boom-or-bust players, especially in PPR leagues, where receptions count for a full point.
