CBB DFS: DraftKings Afternoon Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (1/11/25)

RJ Davis - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's Afternoon DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 1/11/25. Mike M's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

I don't know what we did to deserve this huge day of college basketball, but I love it! We have another dozen games, mostly marquee ones, in the middle of the afternoon! We start with a Tobacco Road brawl between the Tar Heels and Wolfpack in Raleigh. Xavier heads to Chicago to take on DePaul. Virginia heads west to take on Stanford. Florida is in Fayetteville to face the Hogs. Georgia Tech heads to Dallas to take on SMU.

The afternoon rolls on from Providence with Seton Hall in town. Wake heads down to Miami to take on the Hurricanes. Tennessee is in Austin for an Orange-out in the Moody Center. Oklahoma is in Athens to take on Georgia. LSU heads up to Oxford to take on the Rebels. Houston is in the Octagon of Doom facing Kansas State. We close this out in the Bay Area with Virginia Tech facing Cal.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 1/11/25, starting at 4 p.m. EST. I’ll give multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Hunter Sallis, Wake Forest ($9.6K)

Sallis does it all for Wake and has one of the best matchups on the slate. There are a lot of good defenses in these 12 games, but Miami is not one of them. Sallis should go over 20 actual points for the fifth straight game.

Ian Jackson, North Carolina ($8K)

At this point, the status of Seth Trimble doesn't even matter. His injury opened the door for the freshman and there's no going back. Jackson has scored at least 18 points in all six starts and has only been under 32 DraftKings points once.

Isaiah Coleman, Seton Hall ($7.6K)

The Pirates desperately needed someone to step up to save their season after the inexplicable loss to NJIT on December 4. Coleman is that guy. He has at least 32 DraftKings points in every game since and the Pirates have at least been competitive in those games.

CJ Gunn, DePaul ($5.2K)

Gunn is starting to get comfortable as a starter for DePaul. He put up 21 actual points in the loss to Seton Hall this week despite fouling out of the game. DePaul needs his scoring. The bad news is that Gunn hasn't refined other areas of his game yet. If he goes cold from the field, it's going to hurt.

Paul Djobet, Miami ($4.6K)

Nijel Pack is out with a foot injury, so Djobet has been playing more minutes lately. He has proven to be an efficient scorer, taking a lot of good shots. He's also a sneaky-good defender. His minutes are slowly increasing. That should continue so long as he keeps playing well.

Also consider: RJ Davis, North Carolina ($9.3K); Alijah Martin, Florida ($9.2K); Boogie Fland, Arkansas ($8.6K); Andrej Stojakovic, California ($8.3K); Cam Carter, LSU ($7.9K); Naithan George, Georgia Tech ($7.5K);  Matthew Cleveland, Miami ($7.1K); Marcus Hill, North Carolina State ($6.4K); Brycen Goodine, Oklahoma ($5.5K); Wesley Cardet Jr., Providence ($5K); Juke Harris, Wake Forest ($3.7K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Maxime Raynaud, Stanford ($10K)

We have seen Raynaud transform from a lanky, clumsy freshman into a lottery pick in his four years with the Cardinal. I have watched a lot of this progression on TV, and I still find it hard to believe that it's the same guy. He's a double-double machine with a smooth outside shot. Raynaud is a matchup nightmare for college players.

Matt Cross, SMU ($7.8K)

Cross had a rough November, but has scored in double figures in every game since and is a constant threat for double-digit rebounds. He's hitting that double-double bonus with regularity now. His transformation in the last six weeks or so is impressive.

Ryan Mela, Providence ($6.4K)

News broke this week that Bryce Hopkins may end up sitting out the rest of this season as well. That's a huge disappointment for Providence and fans of basketball in general. I'm a big fan of Hopkins.

What this does is keep Mela from looking over his shoulder. He doesn't have to worry about someone taking his spot. Mela had a strong game against Connecticut and a big game against Butler to start the new year. I love this matchup with Seton Hall today.

Rueben Chinyelu, Florida ($4.9K)

We saw this several times last year with Washington State. Chinyelu would have a couple of strong games, then disappear without a trace for weeks at a time. Chinyelu was huge against both Kentucky and Tennessee. I'll bite in another game where Florida will need his size inside. The price is right.

Also consider: Arthur Kaluma, Texas ($9.1K); David N'Guessan, Kansas State ($8.7K); Asa Newell, Georgia ($7.6K); Alex Condon, Florida ($7.1K); Malik Dia, Mississippi ($6.1K); Mady Sissoko, California ($5.7K); Ben Burnham, Virginia Tech ($5.1K); Felix Okpara, Tennessee ($4.5K)
