The regular season has come to a close. Some of these guys won’t have another game. A couple could have up to four more games. Even more could opt out of bowl games with a look toward the fu...

With college football's regular season over, it's time to get some college basketball back on here! It was a fun opening night of the ACC/SEC Challenge with a little Kansas/UConn thrown in for good measure. What will the second day of the challenge have in store? We've got some big names and some great matchups […]

Rivalry week was fun. The first part of the coaching carousel went off the rails as expected. We are now in a position where two Group of 5 teams could get into the CFP, and two 11-1 teams may be ...

We had a lot of big-time matchups during “Feast Week,” the name ESPN gave to all of these tournaments around Thanksgiving. We get some more this week with the ACC-SEC Challenge taking ...

With college football's regular season over, it's time to get some college basketball back on here! What better way to start than the opening night of the ACC/SEC Challenge? We've got some big names and some great matchups today. We'll go through all of those for each slate. We'll give you the core pieces with […]

We are here at conference championship week, nearly a month after the first CFP rankings came out. We still have no clarity on what they value. Losing one committee member didn't help, but the wishy-washy, politician-type answers given to questions leave more questions than answers. Now the CFP committee is faced with some really big […]

If you think you had a bad weekend, the CFP committee has you beat. The CFP committee is in trouble. Last year, they ranked SMU and Indiana too high in the initial rankings. They didn’t need...

There's not much better than the prime-time slate in Rivalry Week. We have the Commonwealth Cup from Charlottesville. Maryland heads to East Lansing to take on Sparty. The real action gets started a little later with the Iron Bowl from Auburn. The Battle for the Victory Bell gets underway at the Coliseum. Next up is […]

I've had a couple of good weeks in a row, so I think I'm ready to attack Rivalry Week. All but two teams (Connecticut and Akron) are in action this week, giving us 67 games total. 50 of them take place on Saturday. Welcome to my world! I love days like this! There are no […]

11 games are a little bit lighter than other Saturdays, but it's rivalry week, so you know we have some great ones on tap. We start with The Game. If you know, you know. Houston travels to Waco to take on the Bears. Texas Tech is in Morgantown to close out a great regular season. […]

We have a big slate on Black Friday. Send your wife and kids out shopping and plant yourself in your favorite chair with your favorite beverage. We've got some good ones on here! The nooners start with the Egg Bowl from StarkVegas. Utah heads to Lawrence for the Jalon Daniels sendoff. Iowa is in "Kinnick […]

It’s Rivalry Week! Some of the best trophies in college football are on the line this weekend. Some of the most heated rivalries will take place this weekend, though there isn’t quite ...

We finally have some separation in the Heisman Trophy rankings. We have to give it to a quarterback this year since a non-quarterback won it last year. We finally have a couple of quarterbacks who...

There wasn’t as much chaos in Week 13, but a couple more ranked teams fell on the road. A few more made big statements against lesser teams for style points with the CFP committee. Hey, don&...

We only have two weeks left of ESPN College Pick Em, and they have finally listened to popular demand after many years. Both Friday and Saturday games will be included during Rivalry Week and Conference Championship Week. It's going to make these last two weeks infinitely more interesting. That means you have to have some […]

More big matchups are in store for college basketball during “Feast Week.” The Player’s Era Tournament in Vegas is underway. Unlike the AP and Coaches Polls, my rankings are afte...

Rivalry week will decide many things. Some teams are only playing for pride. Some are playing for seeding. Most are playing for trophies. This is the most fun week of the year, and it gives us a loaded Friday slate. We can't complain about that. We have a lot of games on Friday this week. […]

We have a big evening slate with eight games on tap. One of those is THE Big Game. Fitting, right? We start in Boise with Colorado State taking the Smurf Turf. Pitt is in Atlanta, where they have won four of the last five against the Bees. Nebraska is in Penn State, but they forgot […]

We've got another big Saturday main slate on tap. Some SEC teams are slumming, so we don't have as many marquee matchups. Missouri is in Norman early, with Oklahoma trying to get revenge on Missouri, scoring twice in the last 65 seconds of the game last year. The undercards are still enticing. Derby City is […]

I had a strong week last week, and I've been ready to get back into this all week! We have to let the lines settle a little. They're usually close to where they're going to close by Friday morning unless we have injury news (which we rarely do in college). Welcome to my world! I […]

We have some possible elimination games on the horizon again. We have seen that the CFP committee doesn’t think much of ranked wins, but they do of ranked losses. That’s interesting. S...

It's another two-game Friday slate this week, but without the star power of last week. These four teams are jockeying for bowl position or just to get to a bowl. There are no ranked teams tonight, but two of them are still power teams. We start this in Raleigh with a beleaguered Florida State team […]

We are down to the last three weeks of the contest. It was once again a tough week for the group. There are 16 entries within 20 points of first place, so it's still tight in the race for prizes. 96addison led the group this week with 44 points. dbacchusdds was second with 41 points. PAPI PEREZ and Cliff316 were […]

The media will give the Heisman Trophy to a quarterback, which is very disappointing. In a season where no quarterback is head-and-shoulders above the rest, maybe we can pay attention to other pla...

Crazy weekends are a given anymore. We’re not even surprised at this point. It was mostly the bottom of the rankings that got cleared out this week, but we’ll see a few changes closer ...

There was more carnage in the ACC, but we somehow got more clarity. The AAC is the new ACC, with no one wanting to win it. The bottom half of the rankings was blown up again last week. The Big Ten wants a 24-team playoff, but we have problems finding 24 teams that deserve to […]

ACC on ACC crime continued this week. The American Conference also chose chaos over order, with four teams in the conference having one loss in conference play. Will that allow for Conference USA ...

We have a big evening slate with eight games on tap. We start in Sin City with Utah State visiting UNLV. Florida heads to Mississippi to interview Lane Kiffin at halftime. Utah is in Waco to take on Baylor. Purdue is in Madison to take on Wisconsin. Next up is the marquee game with Texas […]

We've got another big Saturday main slate on tap, with some big games on the slate. We start in Aggieland with the Gamecocks in town. Arizona heads up to the Queen City to take on the Bearcats. Notre Dame is in Pittsburgh, presumably because Gameday showed up. Michigan heads to Wrigleyville to take on Northwestern. […]

I dropped another game last week at 25-26, but only lost one betting point. I'm getting by with solid picks on higher bets, but there are some teams that I'm having trouble figuring out this year. We have our busiest Saturday of the season with 50 FBS vs. FBS games this week. Kentucky is attempting […]
