A.T. Perry's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit A.T. Perry for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 16+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR6
ANALYSIS: New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver A.T. Perry didn't have any career receptions before New Orleans' most recent game, a Week 10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
After that game, Perry's now got two receptions in his career, including a touchdown catch. He was targeted four times in the loss, catching two passes for 38 yards. Perry was on the field for 84% of New Orleans' offensive snaps.
With Michael Thomas out, there's definitely room for A.T. Perry to make an impact in New Orleans. Chris Olave is the WR1 for the team, but there's room for Perry if he can prove to be more consistent than Rashid Shaheed, who has been a boom-or-bust option all season.
Still, while there's long-term upside here, there's not really much reason for fantasy managers in most formats to play A.T. Perry in Week 12 against a Falcons defense that allows the eighth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers. If you're in a 16-team league and need an upside play, Perry's an option, but the majority of fantasy managers should take a wait-and-see approach with the rookie out of Wake Forest.
