Raheem Mostert Does Not Have An ACL Injury
Raheem Mostert (knee) doesn't have an ACL injury, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan. Although that is good news, it certainly doesn't paint a clearer picture of the type of ailment plaguing the 29-year-old. After Mostert's premature exit against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, rookie Elijah Mitchell entered and had a fantastic showing, finishing with 104 yards and a touchdown off 19 carries. Still, Mostert should remain classified by fantasy managers as day-to-day. However, if he does miss time moving forward, Mitchell certainly made a case to be the team's interim starter moving ahead, especially with Trey Sermon held out as a healthy scratch in Week 1.
