Ryan Jeffers Belts Three-Run Homer In Victory
Ryan Jeffers collected a three-run homer in Saturday's 8-1 defeat of the Cardinals. Making his first start since Wednesday, Jeffers contributed to a five-run third inning for the Twins, depositing a ball 411 feet into the seats at 101.3 MPH. The 24-year-old has taken a bit of a backseat to Mitch Garver since the latter returned, though Jeffers has been excellent in the last two games he has started, collecting three home runs and nine RBI. He's more of a DFS play, given that he is likely to see slightly less playing time than Garver moving forward, though he can still be a fine matchup play.
